"As an artist, I paint with my heart and soul, and I draw inspiration from the seashore, my travels, and people. I long for human connection and seek out social environments where the people, action, and circumstances excite or move me and often drive me to paint. As a person, I know that art needs to be a part of my daily life in order for me to be true to my authentic self. I often feel as though I have a spirited hand as paintings take on a life of their own. Color plays an important role in evoking my emotions. I am a passionate painter who enjoys making love to my surface. My most cherished paintings are often a result of extreme triumph or tragedy, for they symbolize my journey and the ebbs and flows of life. When my heart and soul feel connected and full, I know the painting is complete and I am glowing. It is never about the end result, climax, or sale of a painting for me...it is always about the process and about sharing my love."
